This blog has a very soft spot for me and I'm always glad to see an update. I can also say that your art was at fault for "getting me back into dinosaurs" in my latter highschool years. I remember stumbling upon that pterosaur-with-a-giraffe image on the web and being blown away as I'd never seen anything like that in my childhood dinosaur books, then devouring the last decade's discoveries voraciously through wikipedia and various blogs. Been a regular reader ever since. In turn this renewed interest in paleontology offered me topics for both a high school graduation project and art college thesis, and will tie into my master's thesis if I ever pursue a master's degree, as well as inspiring some of my art and worldbuilding endeavors. So I wanted to thank you for your outreach, it's made a difference. :)Cliodnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14249637837113488015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3653345901774701895.post-29623182160912161902022-11-29T10:03:41.443-08:002022-11-29T10:03:41.443-08:00I look forward to checking in weekly for the chanc...I look forward to checking in weekly for the chance of a new post. On a related note, what do you recommend for adult casual readers (as opposed to enthusiasts or specialists) who wanna learn more about pterosaurs, reading your 2013 book in conjunction w/your pterosaur-related blog posts? I think so, but wanna make sure. The only good pterosaur books I know of that are much more recent are for kids ( https://www.edelweiss.plus/#keywordSearch&q=pnso+pterosaurs&page=1 ).raptor_044https://www.blogger.com/profile/10538231485096397412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3653345901774701895.post-43541686352644517592022-11-28T10:36:51.742-08:002022-11-28T10:36:51.742-08:00I have read and enjoyed all of your blog posts her...I have read and enjoyed all of your blog posts here, Mark. Many were a good bit of work just to read as thinking (horrors!) was heavily involved. I like the long-post format you've developed as it gets into the kind of depth that one seldom sees in 'print' outside a book. Many thanks for all your work and for sharing it.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07174422312354863164noreply@blogger.com
